It is important for children and young
people to live in a district with high quality, diverse, inclusive and sustainable play facilities

varianta 9 engleza scris intensiv

When it comes to refer to the shaping of one's personality we should firstly mention the fact that the district we live in plays an essential part, maybe more than the influence the family has. In order to confirm this statement we should consider the following arguments.

First of all, the personality of each individual begins to take form in the middle of the family and is closely connected to the education, the social status, religion or culture that the family offers. But from an early age a child begins to socialize and he comes into contact with diferent children of his age and even older who live in the same district, and contribute to his shaping of personality. Therefore, a first place to socialize for a child is the playground from his district where he comes to meet several children of diferent behaviours and with whom he tries to communicate in order to be able to integrate in a certain group. If the district he lives in has high quality, diverse, inclusive and sustainable play facilities, these contribute to the shaping of children and young people`s personality.

When I start thinking about my childhood, I always get a good mood because all I remember are funny and pleasant moments spent in my district which had lots of play facilities. I could say that I had a happy childhood, and that I have many beautiful memories from that period.

Moreover, with the passing of years, I became an adolescent , attended a highschool and a universiy, where I tried to belong to a group of friends and had the same concerns and hobbies as the ones in my group.
But one thing I would like to point out and to conclude with is the fact that, in my opinion, the latest generations have become much more independent and uppish . What do they try to show with this behaviour? Maybe the fact that they try to get rid of the prejudices that characterize our society and have a more modern perspective of life.

Advertisements don’t just sell products
but an image of the world in which buying becomes the main purpose in life.

Varianta 10 engleza scris intensiv

Advertising is an effective way of selling new products, and many people argue that its effectiveness brainwashes us into unnecessary spending. Others, however, disagree, saying that advertising can’t sell any product; it can only help to sell a product the people want to buy.
One of the main arguments for advertising is that it generates wealth for a country. That is to say, taxes paid on goods sold, help governments to pay for essential services such as education and health care. Moreover, the number of jobs created for producing, marketing and servicing these goods helps to reduce the unemployment problem, which is also a great advantage for a country's economy.
What is more, advertising raises money for a huge number of sporting events and artistic performances which would otherwise not be held. Without sponsorship from companies who advertise their products, these events would disappear due to lack of founding. In other words, although consumerism is promoted through advertising, it is beneficial to both the consumer and society.
On the other hand, advertisements can cause people to be dissatisfied with what they already have, and make them want more. Being exposed again and again to products which one cannot afford produces frustration and dissatisfaction. Furthermore, not all parents are in a position to afford the goods which their children see advertised and want to possess. This often leads to feelings of inadequacy, especially among the less well-off.
What is sometimes annoying when it comes to advertisements is that these last too much, especially when we watch a movie or an interesting show. We have to wait more than ten minutes to see the same advertising over and over again.
In addition to this, advertising creates materialism and causes people to place too much importance on material goods. The fact that people are prepared to work long hours, or even turn to crime in order to gain the goods on offer, shows that advertising persuades people to go to great lengths to keep the same standard of living as those they see around them. It is a fact, though, that neither crime, not the stress caused by overwork, can benefit society.
