I totally agree with this statement.If you want to do something, to realize a good thing for humanity, nobody can't stop you. For example: Robert Slavin wanted to do something for our children, he wanted to create schools in which all children, no matter what's their socioeconomic status or race, learn at high levels. Everybody doubt him, they didn't thought that this is possible. But Slavin did his best and proved his best and created these schools . So it's true...where there's a will there's a way...

this statement is about becoming someone in life, accomplishing your dream. i agree with this idea , because you should have a will all the time , to succed, to find the right way.

firstly, if you want to resolv something, to do what you want with your lifeyou need a will. that sustains you, your friends encourage you and you will find the path.

secondly, if you are an ambitious person you will fight in any situation for what you want, to fulfill your dreams; you only have to really want to do something and you'll accomplish it.

some people say that if you are a lucky person you will find your road anyway! you only should be an intelligent and lucky man or waman.

in conclusion, you should know that it is necesarry for you to have a will, you should have a goal in life and always try to reach it.

"The difference between perseverance and obstinacy is that one often comes from a strong will, and the other from a strong won't !" ( Henry Ward Beecher )

"Dripping water wears the stone that could not be hammered to pieces."

"Constant dripping wears away the stone."

"Little strokes fell great oaks."

"Rome was not built in one day."

"Little by little and bit by bit."

Introduction :

- the key-word of this saying is "will";
- it seems to say that if one has sufficient determination, one can accomplish what one sets out to do;
- the saying also teaches patience and perseverance : Don't be downhearted ! Don't let early failures deter you from your purpose ! Don't be discouraged by the size of the task you have to do !
- important tasks call for a lot of hard work and take a long time to complete;
- but stick to it and you will finally succeed ! ( If at first you don't succeed try, try again ! );

Development :

A. Will - the Secret of Success :

- courage and hope both depend on a crucial virtue : perseverance;
- perseverance is the ability to keep going in adverse circumstances with a cheerful countenance;
- the immediate meaning of the saying is that anything that requires perseverance is a hard thing;
- being a hard thing and still being accomplished means that it improves you;
- the secret of the persevering is an understanding of the learning curve;
- this learning curve is like a graph with a line that rises, then dips somewhat, then it rises higher;
- this learning curve represents the standard shape of the progress people make in mastering anything new;
- all goes swimmingly, then suddenly one seems to regress, to lose what advance has been made;
- at this point most people give up;
- but if they were to persist they would find that each dip is followed by a higher rise;
- and that the overall pattern is upward and onward - which is success;

B. "There is always a WAY where there is a WILL!"

- the man who invented the lightning conductor, Benjamin Franklin, started out as a chandler's apprentice;
- young Lawrence, the future famous writer David Herbert Lawrence, was a clerk for a Nottingham firm;
- young Samuel Langhorne Clemens, the future Mark Twain, worked as an apprentice printer in Hannibal, Mississippi ;
- with his father out of work, young Jack London found himself forced to deliver newspapers;
- with his father arrested for debt, young Charles Dickens began work in a boot blacking factory at London's Hungerford Stairs;
- young Abraham Lincoln was a land-cultivator, tree-cutter, and postman;
- as a schoolboy, Dwight Eisenhower worked in a creamery at Abilene, Kansas, and on local farms;
- from fourteen onwards, peasant boy Mikhail Gorbachev worked each summer as a combine operator's assistant at the machine-tractor station in the Russian village of Privolnoe;
- young Annie Mae Braddock, the future Tina Turner, laboured out in the cotton fields;
- young Elvis Presley was supply deliverer in the Crown Electric Company, Memphis;
- young Thomas Cruise Mapother IV, the future Tom Cruise, worked as a gardener;
- young Issur Danielovitch Demsky, the future Kirk Douglas, worked as a window-cleaner in Lurie's department store, New York;
- young Tommy Connery, the future Sean Connery, worked as French polisher for coffin-maker;
- young Charles Buchinsky, the future Charles Bronson, worked as a coal-miner;
- young Greta Gustafsson, the future Greta Garbo, was a barber's assistant in a barber's shop in Stockholm;
- what could have all these people become if there had been no will in them ?
- but there is always a way where there is a will, and this will changed their lives completely;

C. Will - the Key to Conquer Your Future :

- where would some people be if they had listened to that time honoured piece of advice : "Don't give up your day job !" ?;
- Sylvester Stallone might still be a lion cage cleaner;
- Ross Abbot could now be driving a coffin-car;
- Henry Ford might have remained a humble car mechanic;
- Dustin Hoffman might have remained a restaurant waiter;
- Marlon Brando and Dr. David Owen might have continued digging ditches as sewage workers;
- Jerry Lewis might have delivered groceries and swept up at Geker's store in New York all his life;
- Garry Cooper might have remained a milkman at the Adohr farm in Los Angeles;
- Sidney Poitier might have continued to park cars;
- and Elvis Presley would have worked as an usher at Loew's State Cinema all his life;
- however, their strong will helped them conquer their future;
- and their strong will is a strong impulse for us to follow their example;

Conclusion :

- it is a commonplace that perseverance tends to be more successful than violence;
- this is exactly like in other sayings which go exactly like the very saying in the topic we discuss;
- the saying and its synonyms below Henry W. Beecher's quote ( see them above ) suggest a number of further traits in anyone who perseveres : determination, ambition, strength to resolve;
- in the end, "what makes our attempts worthwhile is not what we get, but what we become by them ! " ( John Ruskin )
- and we become what we want, but only if there is a WILL !
